-Thread revival!-
Japan fashion has always been out-there but innovative and fresh.
What is your opinion on this trend:

Mori girl/natural kei- idea of the look-> make it appear like a girl has emerged from the forest (mori) after living there for many years, a bit tattered and raggy with leaves and sticks in her hair. It emphasies on using layers and natural textures/fabrics with limited accessories.

Questions:

Do you think this trend/fashion would be suitable here?
Mori fashion- girls or guys better?
Would you wear it?

It would be nice to wear mori girl clothes!!!!~ xD

Would you wear traditional Japanese clothes on a normal day to the shops or something?

@Florrie: I would! >.< People are so lucky in Shibuya, they get to wear whatever they want.
Well if I had a yukata, I would wear it occasionally~ but maybe one that doesn't have spazzy patterns @.@

1. Hm, I don't think it would be suitable here, still too many strange stares at people who are different.
2. The girls are better, the guy's scarf reminds me of the American flag and looks like any colour coordinated outfit.
2. Hmmmmm... maybe!

I would if I had some but again, people's reactions could be positive or negative.

Thoughts on Chino's ? I see every 2nd person wearing them. Personally I aint a fan of them and see them as a fashion NAY(only a few people can pull it off imo)

I don't mind them, unless I see a person wearing skinny chinos that isn't suited for their manly legs!

Good thing about them is that they can come in pretty much any range of colours that something like jeans can't provide, but with that said with great colours comes great responsibility... you have to be careful with what you're wearing when you have coloured chinos on i.e. no patterns, no more than 1 or 2 colours on your top or else you're going to be looking like a clown!

I don't know, chinos seem to make people's legs shorter @.@" I personally don't like them, so it's a nay.

Chinos are alright but what i don't get is why the amount of people wearing jeans has decreased. well from what i've noticed.

Hot weather? The task of having to actually put them jeans on? Compared to the easiness of leggings or whatever for girls and shorts/chinos whatever for guys haha Are you looking overall on females or males wearing them?

I've even shorts branded as 'Chino shorts' :S but yeah I dunno. Maybe cos it's an 'in' trend.
