Visual Novels anyone?

I'm just wondering does anyone here plays visual novels other than me?
(just incase u guys dont know wat it is, visual novels are like interactive manga software that mostly in first person, meaning u have the point of view of the main character and most allows choice that leads to different endings. and it hav music and cg galleries!)

For some of you might thought the anime/manga versions are better and less boring but the visual novel actually releases a lot more information about the plot and the characters' thought. So give it a go if you havnt!

fate stay night, tsukihime, shuffle!, tears to tiara, Utawarerumono, katawa shoujo, Soul Link, Ai Yori Aoshi, etc.

warnings: 1. girls may find it weird while playing as you're playing from the hero's point of view
2. most contains adult content
3. endings may be sad...

I think I tried one, I remember clicking repeatedly to get through years of text then gave up. I think I was just in a hurry to get to the naughty bits.

Hmm I've seen visual novels before, but the thing that makes me avoid them is the fact that: 1. 80% are just galge (galge = gal games or games that involve dating girls and sometimes more ) 2. The fact that they are around 500MB each (I have low internet) 3. Translated ones are rare and a nuisance to install and patch

However if you know any good visual novels feel free to tell us

The only visual novel I tried reading was Umineko no Naku Koro ni, but the graphic quality annoyed me, and the playthrough (watched through Youtube) was a massive chunk of text and sometimes the person clicked to the next page too quickly...grr, the art looks so bad!

wait... are u saying u are only intrusted in the one with a lotta naughty bits , aka nukige?

try playing "Bible Black" or "Discipline The Record Of The Crusade". great fast pace plot and they aint boring!

1. have u played Fate stay night, Utawarerumono (RPG), tsukihime and tears to tiara (RPG)? still have romance and stuff but are thats not the main theme in the plot and who cares, u got to see how much more stuff they put in compare to the anime/manga(they hardly explain much...) Some like "gadget trial" are without love-stuff and just pure strategic gaming then plot reveals itself
2. Thats right... infact they're around 1-2gigs nowadays but i dont mind lending u mine(i got a lot) if u're willing to try
3. right again... only 3-4% of these are actually translated. However, there's a reason why those got translated... they are popular and awesome. All of the ones that i have a translated and patched! I even got the software required for installation.
