At what point does daylight savings switch over? Like at 12am does it flip back an hour to 11pm or does it filp back at 1am to 12am or does time stop counting at 12am for an hour?

I dunno..the whole concept confuses me. Apparently it doesn't make much difference because we aren't really saving energy as they say it should. It's somehow corresponds with less daylight but it might get phased out since there is a limited number of countries participating in daylight saving. Our family just moves the hand back one hour when we wake up.
