What Cosplay are you working on?

No not now...I would have to get the dress first, which is virtually impossible.
Length of wig might be mid-length.
Maybe I will have to find some random gothic black loli dress instead.
But this isn't for Halloween. Next year, hopefully.

I think my mum has finally accepted my lame attempts at cosplaying so she is allowing me to practise sewing and is actually offering help!
Is there a pattern for Suigintou's dress? I tried counting the triangular flap parts and it looks like 6 or 8. 6- two on each each side and two for the back....confusing tail parts. (searches online)

hrmm i'm not sure about pattern for suigintou
but i guess it's good to have HEAPS of reference images and then draw/plan out things by things to get done =)

Hehehe! I have a long white wig now~ very happy!
Now, need help putting it on. -.-
Do I have to clip my fringe up, and tie all my hair really tight into a bun?

lols~ hrmm its best to have a wig net or of some sort so it can hold up all your hair without having small strands showing
you can purchase wig nets/cap at bargain stores im sure
but anyhow~
usually for people with long hair, its tying your hair into a loose bun while maintaining all the hair in place
the reason is that loose buns can be controlled under the wig
and will not give weird bumps when you wear the wig because you can flatten the bumps since your hair is kinda loose...
for the fringe, yes.. fringes and sides must all be pulled back and behind your ears..
this is good as the wig goes on more smoothly and when you pull your sides back behind your ear (not literally but back to you head).. the small strands are also getting pulled back
so the wig looks more natural (Despite the color)

putting the wig on, what i usually do is once i have all my hair back (i use wig net/caps but yeah).. start wearing the wig
tilt your head down or bend over.. so the wig fibre or strands is hanging down.. and when you wear it.. the back of the wig (inside wise).. should start first and go from your forehead and then slide in.. this way.. al lthe hair on the front is slide back..
however it might be a problem for long hair since tucking the back of your hair is gonna be bum..
so maybe when you slide and almost reaching the bun, pull or stretch your wig out (not the strands.. the cap of the wig).. and make the bun fit
i recommend you DO NOT start from back to the front.. cos this makes the front where the fringe puffy (your own hair that is).. and therefore you're bound to have hair hanging over your wig which you dont want that

Yesterday was awesome because I went to Hurstville with cousin and her family and mine, and bought fabric to work on my cosplay: Soul Eater- Eruka Frog!
Got to find some clothing dress patterns..
Downside, I thought there was nothing for trimming at the end of the dress, so I also bought black netting but then I looked at reference pics and she had white lace..*faints*
And the fabric....the spots arent that big.
- not very accurate but hey, first proper cosplay ^.^

Because I'm planning to join in with Celeste's Soul Eater group.
Plus with Eruka Frog, I just have to make the dress and the hat, and buy a pair of white boots.
I also want to wait till my hair grows longer for Maya (well not the back ponytail though @.@)
And a plain white hoodie is kinda hard to find.
I should actually write a whole list of my future cosplay ideas.
