Where do you buy your Animu Goods?

Not sure if there was already a thread like this, but i cant find it so oh well....

Basically this thread is for posting where you buy your animu & manga related merchandise, it can be websites, conventions or maybe markets?

So yeah I'll go first, for figma I have bought from two main websites: www.dealextreme.com and www.hlj.com , If you went to smash then you'll know that we had alot of figma , 90% of these came from dealextreme which is a cheapo chinese store (figures are around $12 for 6 so its cheap), they were pretty decent quality for this price but dont a few had some bad paint, the site also sells alot of other items and everything has free shipping to australia.

Hobby link Japan or Hlj is on the complete opposite side of things, it offers REAL figures but at expensive prices, I recommend you DO NOT buy from them UNLESS they are having a free shipping deal (they have around 2 of these per year) during this time they also have other sales and you can get tonnes of LEGIT stuff for a fraction of the regular price. I'd recommend you add yourself to their mailing list so that you get an email from them about their sales.

Also I found that SMASH sold new manga for $10 a volume which is cheaper than i've seen elsewhere....wish I'd bought some more while i had a chance

I've only bought figurines from morning glory, i'm not too sure on the quality though, also paddy's but you'll have to get used to the squishyness and carry a pair of binoculars to find a good deal

manga i buy from basement books at railway square or annoy the book store people at kino by standing there all day reading manga but not buying any =w=

^I second that Alia and Anna~ (I miss going to Basement Books..but they have a whole heap of Korean manga now..-.- I wanted more XXX-holic.)
The shop near Central Station/Capitol sells stuff imported from China.
@Russ- yeah they did have manga for $10, but I think by the time I went to check the stall, all the good ones were gone! Q.Q
There's that figurine shop up at Capitol but they're pretty limited in stock and expensive, unless you catch them with a special discount--> (yes like my nendroid three-character Haruhi set for $30 because of one defect). I saw they had a decent Black Rock Shooter figurine for $180-ish...@.@ not the best model though.
And I think they used to take requests/orders but not sure now. They have random plushies, gundam model kits and capsule keyrings too.

Also, another figurine shop in Market City, lvl 1, really over-priced. They have Pokemon/ capsules plushies too claiming they are authentic Japanese collectibles- right...so you can sell it at retail price. I spied the cat plushie from Kiki's Delivery Service- small thing $35....also have really expensive anime games on Playstation, PSP, Wii etc.

well i know that the little store oppsite my mum's store they sell those.. figurines thingy, plushies, lighters... not gundum i thiknk.. i dunno havent looked inside the shall throurghly..
but i know the lady will bargin.. lols..

i bought all my ghibli studio anime like from random stores form JB-hi5 to target
yeah probably had to pay lik 23$ for one dvd... meh..
