AnimeSydney Christmas Party 2010

Just received an e-mail from the SUAnime club in regards to the AnimeSydney's annual Christmas event. If you're interested in coming along, check out the details below!

WHEN: 11 December, 2010
TIME: 7pm - midnight
WHERE: Roxbury Hotel (182 St John’s Road, GLEBE NSW 2037)
AGE RESTRICTIONS: 18 years and over


DRESS CODE:
The theme for the night is 'Red & White!'. Smart casual with an elemet of red or white - unless you're cosplaying.

FOOD & DRINKS:
Buffet dinner with non-alcoholic drinks provided with your tickets. A bar will be made available for the alcoholic varieties - at your own expense. (We encourage responsible drinking.)

FUN & GAMES & PRIZES
The night will include mini entertainment and prizes, including a door prize for just turning up and Best Dressed. Some of the entertainments include trivia, scavenger hunts, Pokemon mini games, and celebrities anime head.

Tickets can be bought from your affiliated club (SUAnime, AnimeUNSW, Anime@UTS, AnimemQ, JAUWS, Parranoia) from the 29th September. A ticket must be presented for entry.

Pre-sale: $40
At the door: $55

Access members*
Pre-sale: $30
At the door: $45

For the people that are unsure of how to get to the venue or just don't want to travel alone, we can arrange a meet-up with all of the other members prior to the event!

It's going to cost $40 for non-access members, which includes everyone besides the people at USYD.

ahh christmas party, i went to it last year it was ok, vincent went too
and i won a gundam figure 8D

but i also left early....

haha, i will go again this year.

somehow, there is still 200 jellybeans left from the prize i won last year...

There were at least 300 of them!!!! i finished 100 of them, felt sick and didnt want to look at jellybeans for a long long time afterwards

Hmm I have a better idea, everyone in the club puts in $55 (the price of admission), We buy a crapload of popcorn chicken, then we pool the money together and have a massive poker game?

The "william's charity" focuses on buying new belts for people named william

you know after Alex dropped us off at Westfields I went to look for belts... it was so depressing

Just get tighter pants. If you're simply wearing a belt for fashion's sake, tying a rope around your waist works nicely too~
