What do you say first when you meet people??

i was just bored sitting in the computer labs and thought something random XD
what would like to say when you first meet people or greet them?

I don't say much unless it's a person I know. Actually, even then... the person I know has to wave or I won't see them. In those cases, I usually mutter "Oh! It's someone I know..." and laugh at myself. Then I can start with the "Hey, How are you~ ^^" (I suppose it's a little hard to SAY "^^" but I manage it...)

HRM!~.. i usually dont say anything unless they say something first

let's say the club
then i'd usually say
HEY~ or hellO (yes.. i say the O pretty loud)..

if its new or first time
then hellO~ i'm danny <insert reason from where or just joined whatever>
nice to meet you

i dont do well with hand shakes.. so usually just like a single wave? hahaha

If it is a close friend: Nya, Miw or some other cat saying. *pounces*

i try and say hello, without choking >________<

to friends i say hi/hey

to other people i just simply say hi but i seem to be so quiet greeting people that i turn out like snob.. now i might also attempt a wave or something..

and usually it's ignored ;_; unless the class or place is realllly quiet
