Winter Anime 09/10

So what animes do you guys think looks good and which ones are you planning on watching?

Think i might watch Dance in the Vampire Bund and Ookamikakushi. Those two are the only ones that really looks good in my opinion.

Dance in the vampier bund is rori so probably only Haru would watch it, Ookamikakushi looks kinda cool i'll probably watch it, I've read the manga for Omamori Himari its an echhi, Harem type where the main character fights yokai with a catgirl. Qwaser of stigmata looks cool, I've read the manga for Baka to test to shoukanjuu and the manga was ok I might watch it.

Durarara!! seems interesting but it's the art that appeals to me.
Dance in the Vampire Bund reminds me of Umineko! Declare existence of vampires....
Lol the princess' pose is definitely like Beatrice. (Sin combo with Beato)
Anyways..that's about it. At least it seems that Vampire Bund is not created by Studio DEEN...<.<

OMG! I'm definitely watching the final season of Nodame Cantabile along with its live-action counterpart. On a side note, the characters in Sound of the Skies are really familiar (K-ON, anyone?). Wow, and I just read that it's also about music except it's taking place in a war-torn era. O:

ooooohhhh im def watching the last season of Nodame Cantible, first two seasons were pretty good.

BTW everoyne watch Denpa teki no Kanojo, its almost as good as Kara no Kyoukai =)


New series i would pick up are Ookamikakushi and Durarara!!, since its from the creators of Baccano

So far, I have seen a couple of the winter series and I have to say, both of the first episodes were solid and entertaining. Sounds of the Skies, which reminded me of K-ON a lot due to its character designs was absolutely better than expected. There's a bit of slice of life, mystery and the production quality was great. It will be interesting to see how the anime will pan out, especially with the mythical elements that was revealed in the first episode. The other series that caught my attention was Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu. It's one of those less serious and over the top anime; it's pretty damn funny!

But anyhow, I'm still waiting for the final season of Nodame Cantabile to start! =)

Omg, Haru! You are trying to get me into Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu...well actually it was from an anime reviewing blog. ^.^ And I agree with Sounds of the Skies! It's awesome!

Dance in the Vampire Bund has potential to become like Umineko without the riddles and major mystery involved. I'm interested to how Mina is going to spread the word to every human that vampires do exist. Hahaha another fight for the declaration of existance. Just mildly violent.

None of these titles appeal to me at all. I just want to watch amazing old school anime, something brilliant which will define its genre. Though if any of these are the next Bebop let me know ya!

Kinda off topic buuuuut, this is what I will be screening at out first meeting of 2010 (since I seem to be the only person bringing their external I've officially given myself control over what the club screens) kinda related to this topic since the show is likely getting an anime later this year.
