sick = fail = missed Jap101 lecture.. :(

So yeah, I'm sick as a dog right now, getting raped by something flu-like just with out the stuffy head/blocked nose.

But anyways, I missed the Jap101 lecture this morning becausegetting out of bed and to uni was a fkn epic struggle. But hey, I'm here now and feeling a bit more normal thanks to cold n flu tabs.

Anyoneat the lecture ths morning able to get in contact with and let me know what was covered/possibly let me take a look at their notes? Don't wanna fall behind already lol.

there are summary notes on vuws.. you just need to fill out some of the answers
i missed out the lecture too but after looking at the summary i think it should be fine
just need some answers

• Japanese Diet:
• Rice = (Gohan)
• common main meal consists of Rice, Miso shiru (miso soup), Okazu (sidedish)
• Rice was cultivated in japan 4000years ago
• Rice can be grown anywhere in japan (north to south)
• 8.8million tones of rice produced in japan every year
• 770,000 tonnes of foreign rice imported from other countries (only imported because of trading law requirements)
• In the Edo period tax was paid in rice
• Different names of rice: Kome (uncooked rice), Gohan (cooked rice, meal), Raisu (Western rice)

lol crap, is attending the lectures vital to passing this unit? There's no way that I can rock up to the Japanese 101 lectures (Parra/Banks) without sacrificing either a 2 hour lecture or a compulsory tutorial. :'(

well, it would seem im going to miss half the tute today... still sick as fk
