childhood days!

Take a moment to reminiscent about the past, the times when you were still young and naive. Did you remember anything? The Secret World of Alex Mack? Are You Afraid of the Dark? Maybe HOT WHEELS or even listening to the Backstreet Boys? If these are sounding familiar, then welcome back to the 90s! I'm going on the assumption that the majority of club members still have fond memories of their childhood and in particular the 90s. Yeah, I'm starting to sound old by attempting to reclaim my lost youth, but feeling nostalgic every now and then will be fun and interesting!

It's not exactly the best list recapping on the 90s, but it's mostly the things I could think of from the top of my head with the help of something I read on FB.

I remember when I would have a group of imaginary friends and I would entertain them by putting up a toy show (like a puppet show), and sitting on the stairs, stringing pieces of cardboard and egg cartons as a little conveyor belt (similar to the ski lifts) and making plastic bag parachutes and played a game where we pretended to be cats, meow~

-.- So imaginative back then....

Omygosh i remember kids bringing in these rotten smelling prank packets to school and getting caught after releasing it )x

Pokemon cards- there are so many fakes now...T-T and they all are pretty dodgy. Like my sister's "Nidoking" card with a picture of "Weezing". @.@

My childhood, I survived on peanut butter sandwiches for lunch. Now, I don't think kids are allowed to bring peanut butter sandwiches to school, in case of allergies.

animanicas, eek the cat, garfield and goosebumps..

also when happy meals were only $2.95..

^Wow! I can't believe I have forgotten all about those, but I can't seem to remember anything about eek the cat. And haha, $2.95 happy meals were the golden days! I used to persuade my parents to buy me one all the time, just for those damn, cheap plastic toys which would always suffer the fate of being neglected 5 days later.

Haha me too! Apparently I was a Happy Meal fanatic and I always asked for one. >.< I don't think it was for the toy though, just the food.

As if, everyone buys a happy meal for the toy!!!

Back in the days when you had to wait 5minutes for the VHS to rewind before you could watch a movie!!!!

When we had a cassette player and played the old music (my parents' Chinese songs which I strangely still remember the tunes to), oh and my mum singing Eternal Flame repetitively (grr! why did she have to learn that song when learning to speak English? Now it's inbuilt into my memory)
