OK, I'm getting really annoyed. It's hard to study for exams when my relatives (a lot of them) that are staying at my house have the tendency to have loud conversations. Far out...

^@.@ Tell them that if you fail the test, it is their fault! >.< Or escape and study somewhere else?

Those two options are the best! I approve of them.

I do also advise the more extreme alternative, silencing them with a shotgun! No not killing them but making death threats! 99% of the times it work. The same 99% will also attract cops around your place so you might wanna be careful with that approach.

i must say some customers are delusional.
they come up and describe the type of jewerlly that they are looking for
then i would proceed and reterive the closest to their decribed jewerlly
they would mostly say "aww.. no, it isn't that"
then i would say "sorry it seems that we dont have it"
customers "oh what a shame.."
i smile at the customers waiting for them to make an exit
but no.
they stay and further describe the item that they are looking for, as if we would suddenly have it in stock...
then they would tell me a story why and where they're going to wear the item to as if i really care...
really? why do they tell me this? to make me feel guilty that we dont have that item that they need for their oh-so-special occasion..
these situation just makes it more akward for the customer and sales person to leave both empty handed.

Awww bluna, it sounds like they really wanted to buy jewellery from your store... You should've kept introducing different jewellery even ones that dont match the description at all! Say this one's similar and would go with the dress they're wearing or something (ask what dress first) be creative!

With gifts it's safe to go with "this one is popular with most customers"

If someone asks for something and you dont have it either show them other things they might like or suggest another store like "Hey theres one of those birthstone gashapons down the road try that it might have the gem your looking for"
