As for me, I'll definitely be using this~

Well here's what I got so far:

Resonance

Prologue (got the pic to illustrate this part, almost finished)

The dull bleak backdrop of a once bustling city had been stilled, for just this one moment. Monochromatic colours by nature, cumulus clouds and harsh steel collided with each other, later made up and evened out the landscape. The mechanical jungle still roared at the distance, but was drowned out. Rain was oddly delayed. Waves tumbled, rose and fell again, lashing at the coast savagely. At the state of the sky, only wind commanded in sound, rustling everything in sight, the thin whistle of the telephone wires, the clattering of terracotta tiles on rooves, the scraping of loose tin flapping, and the violent shaking of tree branches. Everything else was in motion and in tune with the world, except of life itself.
Only one thing stood out against the darkening world.
If you didn’t notice the whiteness, you wouldn’t have noticed at all. A girl stood by the cliff, staring at the wide expanse of emptiness, devoid of emotion and looked as if she might also be blown away by the wind.
She herself could not represent the only being that contained life.
Her unnatural white hair rippled in the breeze, swirling in streams, greatly contrasting the greyness of everything else. The other object that also didn’t blend in with the seemingly hostile environment was her flowing white dress.
Truth betold, this single individual had no hope for the world, no future. More than ever, she believed that she didn’t deserve to be a part of life.
In close proximity to the girl, a sense of dread and death hung around. It was a mist of misfortune, ill will and stillness, clinging to her very skin, thin and stubborn- unable to dissipate. Grey eyes which saw nothing. Without the billowing dress, she would have just looked like a skeleton welcoming the apocalyptic weather.
She didn’t see the faint glimmer of the sun poking at from its covers, neither did she acknowledge the early morning runners and joggers crossing the bridge as the city started to move again, awoke from its restless slumber. Sirens, commotion and the chirruping of birds heralded the new day, oblivious to her presence or her thoughts.
In her mind, everything was still the same. Unchanged, indifferent, scarce.

General storyline: Chiarasu suffers from multiple disorders/diseases (having received a heart transplant when she was a young child, may have Thalassaemia (major- misdiagnosised as minor)
Causes severe anaemia (explains the paleness), jaundice (liver failure = yellow tinge), fatigue, lack of appetite, failure to grow= petite figure. She is currently waiting in line for another heart transplant.

She literally can drop dead at any moment- as she has fainting spells. Werewolf guy (Sen) smells the sickness in her in the street, before she collapses in front of him. The werewolf happens to be a doctor at this newly established hospital run by supernatural beings-> to aid in the health system of humans (since "Hell/ Underworld" already had enough) with creatures who each use their abilities to specialise in an area/ part of medicine.

Her condition is so bad that it was a bleak prognosis- death within a few hours- (multiple organ failure)

When the shinigamis came to collect her soul, there was a message from higher-up saying that she shouldn't die <----insert mystery reason here.
Only way to save her life was if she turned into a werewolf so her body could regenerate and recover her health. So even though there was a restriction placed that anyone working in a medical environment esp. treating humans- that the beings aren't allowed to "turn" patients into their own kind, Sen bit Chiarasu.
And that is the start of how she became a werewolf, started living a life without pain or sickness, had no funds to pay back for the treatment, had no future so she was made to work as a nurse at the hospital, could not live with her family anymore (racial segregation)<--- in order to cover up her past life, they faked her death and funeral (justified that she was going to die anyway so her passing was imminent) etc.

Random quote about character description of Chiarasu-

"She is always day-dreaming, see how her eyes are glazed over like that?"
"Hmm it's odd seeing her skin so pale and a slight tinge of yellow? And her hair! Bright white, indeed."
"Looks like she's a demon to me."
"Haha, you're right. Better not stay near her or else we will catch her disease."

Got an idea for a manga about dodgeball. Only difference is that it's over-the-top exaggerated much like Prince of Tennis but without the DBZ-esque stuff like powerlevels or beam-spam.

No, this is hot-blooded dodgeball action. Based off from the movie Dodgeball... or something like that

Storyline:
Six players. Six basketball. Two tournaments, one of which is the most grandest of them all. $30 million dollars. One way to succeed.

Sport, thy name is Dodgeball

Entering at Rydalmere University as an exchange student studying a Business and Commerce degree, Kazuya Akisame sets out to become a successful student, graduate and businessman so that he may one day take over his father's corporation as CEO until that fateful day where he took a detour from his route. Persuaded by his friends to play a round of friendly Dodgeball during Week 0 - Orientation Week, his hidden talent is revealed thus catching the eye of one of the regular members. Here he meets up with Christopher "Chris" Harrison who offers him a position on in his team as one of the regular Dodgeball players. Reluctant at first, he declines on the offer but soon come to realize that the sport Dodgeball is no ordinary sport. Immersed and in awe, he later joins the team where their goal is to make it to the Las Vegas International Dodgeball Tournament.

Plotline:
Basically, each team from within and around the country compete to win the National Dodgeball Tournament which is held in Sydney annually. Those who win the National Dodgeball Tournament are then viable to challenge for the International Dodgeball Tournament held in Las Vegas where they have to compete against the best of the best.

Not only is it a prestigious event to be able to enter through to the Las Vegas International Dodgeball Tournament but winning the whole tournament is extravagant. The Las Vegas Tournament has been deemed as a "superman league" compared to the qualification rounds that is called National Dodgeball Tournament.

The winning prize to those who win the Las Vegas International Dodgeball Tournament is $30 million in cold-hard cash.

Characters:

Kazuya Akisame (the "Protagonist", 1st Year, 17 years old): An international student all the way from Japan. Spending his entire school-life dedicated to studying to become the CEO of his father's corporation, he decides to travel aboard to Australia where he can experience a whole new environment plus to get away from his father (who is pressuring him to take-over the business once he graduates). During Week 0 of Orientation Week, he reluctantly plays a round of friendly dodgeball with some resident students on campus. Spending most of his life behind his desk studying, his physical prowess is deemed pitiful until the 3rd round of dodgeball where he uses a remarkable skill that catches the eye of one of the regular members.

His unique technique is Orbit Rebound which allows him to divert and control the motion of the ball using only his fingertips. By doing so, he is able to return fire an oncoming ball at the same velocity and same impact without causing any lag.

Christopher "Chris" Harrison (The Tactical Commanding Leader, 3rd Year, 21 years old): A military-savvy person who is nonchalant, tactical and the control tower of the dodgeball team. Analyzing flaws and weakness in opponent's formation while producing counter-attack strategies. Though he lacks the physical capabilities of a athlete, he makes up in schemes and intelligence.

His unique technique is Sniper Strike which allows him to launch a dodgeball at the opponent at an alarming speed and with such precision, much like a sniper rifle. Only downside is that it's set-up time is disastrous allowing the opponent time to dodge or recover the ball if he is identified easily.

Shana Williams (The Receiver, 3rd Year, 20 years old): A very athletic, energetic and optimistic person who is the right-hand lady of team. Talented in the catching department no matter how bizarre, swift or powerful the basketball are thrown. Formerly a basketball player until Chris recruited (more like invited) her in his team in their 2nd year of university.

So far, she doesn't have any special techniques...

Jin Chung-Hee (The Delinquent, 2nd Year, 19 years old): A Korean student who hails from Japan and got transferred to Rydalmere University. Always fighting gangs and punks back in his hometown, he transferred to Rydalmere University he be tries to become serious in his studies... unfortunately it didn't go so well. Always seen wearing a bandanna around his forehead and carrying a baseball bat. His favorite sport is baseball but unfortunately in Australia, he made a slight mistake and found out that baseball isn't all that great. He later gets recruited by the leader of the Rydalmere Dodgeball team after seeing Jin bat a ball with only his right arm.

His unique technique is Home Run Smash which allows him to return at launched ball with only his right arm. This technique is so wild that he can't control his own accuracy of where the ball is suppose to go.

Akechi Daisuke (Kaiser of the Underworld, the "Antagonist", 3rd year, 21 years old): Arrogant, proud and spiteful are just mere description of his personality. The only word that matches him is "jerk". Hailed from Sydney University of Technology, him and Chris has known each all the back from senior years in High School. Catching, throwing and dodging skills are all tremendously remarkable. Excelling in all three areas of speed, power and catching; he is deemed as a "perfect player".

On the dodgeball court, he is considered a dangerous foe. His unique technique is Golden Lion Monarch, an attack that causes incredible air friction around the ball when thrown. Razes and destroys anyone who tries to catch or gets even get hit by it, leaving more than just a gaping bruise.

He is the leader of the SUT Dodgeball team (Sydney University of Technology) "The Shoguns"

The peace agreement is onto human and the death agreement is onto us.

Plot: Old world

The characters and involves:

Akoito Espeno - A top secret agent who is been a childhood of Keeana Estero.

Keeana Estero - The daughter of Datu Adatu Estero.

Datu Adatu Estero - The ruler between human and espada.

Traiba Unohimo - The Datu rightkat belong to the espada.

Angna Inabelen - The Datu leftkat belong to the human.

The Six swords - Symbolize the peace agreement between human and espada.

The TranspedInvulnerable - The one that use to broke the Six pair of swords and vanish all of the espada.

Espada - A human like humanoid the the looks like the same as human, the only differ is their pure pale
skin and the strength and quick they has.

Brief Summary:

When espada rule in this world they serve human more above on they're selves. when generation pass a greedy espada ruler broke the peace agreement that the both side ancestor made. ruler raise the death lord form sleep and bring darkness onto earth, the death lord kill livings and raise the dead's, many screaming and bleeding are scattered everywhere while the thunder and lightning striking everywhere. It's been stop when one espada stand and wiped the Death lord and the greedy ruler and in-exchange is the death agreement to all espada species, all espada in the world is turning in to ashes and had gone. The peace of human comeback again but still the memories, living with the species is still in their heart.

My mind has been off-track during the time of the Dodgeball K.O and an RP which I'm casting one of the main character of Dodgeball in. As a result, I made a decent backstory for him which is almost as good as making some sort of sequel to the original manga.

This sidestory actually incorporates both a bit of Red Steel (my previous manga which I will work on if my drawing skills has improved in the near future) and Dodgeball K.O

Weird as that sounds, I actually quite like it.

So paying homage to my original manga, I'd like to present to you Jin Young Park's backstory.

Iron Conqueror: Life of Jin Young Park

Storyline:
Grown tired after self-raising himself and conquering the mean streets of Seoul, South Korea; Jin Young Park turns his sight onto Tokyo, Japan where not only does he gain an education for his senior years in High School but also where he's willing to rule the criminal underworld. However, things aren't easy as it seems as the power difference is vastly great between the two countries. As a result, Jin becomes way over his head with fighting that he messes with a gang that he shouldn't haven't challenged to begin with.

When the whole criminal world turns against you. When you become Public Enemy #1 in the eyes of feared gangs, rebels and syndicates. You put up your dukes and keep on fighting.

Plotline:
The plot revolves around Jin as he fights gang after gang in an attempt to rule the criminal underworld. From school rebels to motorcyclist gangs and all the way to the fearsome Yakuza. As he rises amongst the rank, his world comes plummeting down when a certain gang plots to murder him during the night by setting his apartment on fire. Barely surviving with nothing but some pocket change, he is left vulnerable throughout the mean cold streets until he is taken under the care of his benevolent manager of 7-11, Wu Chen.

Given a place of accommodation, Wu Chen becomes intrigued with Jin's ambition to conquer the streets and decides to teach him the Martial Art Style "Iron Dragon" which is deemed to be considered an outdated, redundant and suicidal fighting style back in China. Integrating the martial art as his own, Jin begins his climb all the back to the top.

As i was flipping through my old notebooks (and found some embarrassing half assed manga which i started but got bored halfway -_-)
i found a particularly interesting one

title: tba, child of darkness? Kuro no kodomo?

Summary: all people are assigned their own original element, eg. Fire, wind, earth etc. However there was a girl who later found out she had the element of darkness. Once reported to the outside world, everyone despised her for what she owned, and in the contrary the child of the light and child of the stars were most popular.
With the elements came their own individual gifts with water having the ability to purify any polluted reservoir with a teardrop, and fire having the most powerful fireball attacks (:3 i like fireballs kehe)
However the child of the moon had discovered his gift was to steal elemental powers off the other children.
With doom about to happen they discover that by gathering light and darkness together they will create a power so great it would be able to destroy the child of the moon.
But it was natural that the light and darkness despised each other for their differences were too great.
So with the wise guidance from a half naked (comeon guys, i need SOME excuse to draw a sixpack somewhere =w=) grand magician who had the power to forcefully bind spirits together, the light and darkeness meet and something or rather happens... Ok i'm tired, that shall be it for today :3

It's old one (at least 2-3 years old) that I'd like to archive here in case I wanna try something different and come back to it in the future. It's almost well-fleshed out with a few holes here and there and it's partly historical.

Based on the trade route lines between Europe (Constantinople, which is Istanbul (Turkey) in the modern day) and Central Asia (Chang'an, which is Xi'an (China) in the modern day) via the Middle East. This 9th-10th century trade route was known as the Silkroad.

In this story, the trade route extends from Europe to all the way to Japan (Believe it or not, the historical records show that Silkroad stops at Nara, Japan). Also, like Natic's story, it adopts an elemental aspect (Fire, Wind, Water, Earth etc.)

I've been contemplating a lot in the past about this storyline and well, I've got some more stuff. Oh course, I think the new stuff will make the "genre" of the story change from the romanticism of adventure to a more dark, grim, supernatural tale.

Title: (If anyone has a good title they can come up with for me, much appreciated)

Synopsis:

The tale is about swordsman who wakes up in the middle of the forest with no recollection of the past or how he wounded up to where he is. No name, no hometown and all that he has is his katana. The only thing that's connected to his memory is a mysterious gem that somehow lures in creatures from the dark to come hunting for it. In hope of his finding past and his connection to the gem, he joins a trade caravan who is about to embark to the journey to the East, Silkroad Trade Route. Along the way, he faces treacherous trials and dangers as little by little his view of the world changes.

Elements:
In this world, there are only a few minute amount of people who are blessed with the ability to gain control and manipulation of elements. Some people go about through years of intense training to gain one or more of the elements. Others are born with it. The following elements known in the world are:

Fire
Water
Earth
Wind
Lightning
Light
Dark (or better known as Gravity)

Being able to manipulate and control these elements means that one can be more proficient in battle. Perfect for those who are on a lengthy trade caravan journey or are in the Brotherhood, fending off the dark forces. However there are other elements out there that hasn't been encountered yet.

How to conjure these elements is another thing. In order to use them, one must use a spiritual object in order to invoke them. Spiritual objects may range from rosary beads, the Cross to talismans and must be blessed in order to be used. Without these objects, humans cannot conjure up the supernatural powers.

The Brotherhood
A mysterious organization who is affiliated with the Church. Their objective is to exorcise and vanquish the dark forces that is plaguing the lands and terrorizing the people. Ever since the gems have surfaced, malevolent creatures and fiends have been appearing at a dramatic rate which made the Brotherhood's objective change. Now, they also seek to find the gems and apprehending them immediately, even if it means taking them by force.

These cloaked individuals are superbly strong enough to clear the dark forces and each have different areas of combat. The organization's influence is so strong that they cover most of Europe and roughly around the Middle East.

The Enigmatic Gems:
These gems and their origins remains unknown. Their properties, however, is rather peculiar as they bestow the user the respective element of the gem. If the user already has that specific element, it amplifies it enough that it rivals the power of the gods. The stone themselves are a spiritual object which means gaining access to the elements is easy. However, with great power comes a hefty price. These gems are known to possess those who obtain them. Once possessed, the users then indiscriminate slay all those around them and will continue to become a mindless killing machine until someone knocks the gem out from their grasp, knocks them unconscious or kills them. These gems are:

Inferno Ruby
Tempest Sapphire
Howling Jade
Quaking Agate
Storming Beryl
Beckoning Moonstone
Twilight Onyx


Mankind went to war over these gems to the point that they were considered the greatest treasures of the World. War after war, mankind's madness and greed consumed them whole until the Church realized the curse that these gems were bringing about. Immediately, they organized the Brotherhood to apprehend the gems at once, by any means necessary in order to protect humanity. Unfortunately, these cursed gems have another terrifying attribute to them, in which, they can summon hordes and hordes of monsters in order to protect themselves.

Rumor has it that, somehow, somewhere. These stones are looking for a master worthy to control them all in order to bestow upon him/her the ultimate gift the world has yet to see...

Element: Spirit. A blue flame-like will-o-wisps that doesn't ignite or burns when it comes into contact. No one truly knows it's real properties and remains a mystery.
Weapon: Katana and European Broadsword
Character Development: Throughout his journey, Isaac tries his best to piece back his lost past along with his connection to the mysterious gems, his enigmatic element and to the Brotherhood. His naivety to the world slowly changes and shapes as he is confronted with fragments of his lost past and others.

Element: Earth
Weapon: Spear and later on, a jagged chain whip with a stake at the back of the handle + a heavy gauntlet
Character Development: Raphael is an experience guardian/knight who aided Rachel in the last trade caravan therefore he is the most knowledgeable and the strongest out of the group. However, his view is deconstructed and rendered invalid as he finds himself in situations that make him feel useless. This, in turn, creates jealously which then turns into hatred towards Isaac, who everyone is depending on throughout the journey.

Though his heart may be waiver and tempted, he does his best to fight off his demons.

Rachael Von Schneider
Weapon: Shield
Character Development:The youngest daughter of the Schneider family. Not blessed with any element, she wishes to be like her father who is a great merchant in all of Europe and parts of the Middle East. During her journey, she tries to make her own legacy instead of following her father's shadow by expanding her horizon. By conquering the Silkroad Trade Route.

Character Development: The eldest daughter of the Schneider family and the one who has been blessed with the element Light. While her sister wishes to be a merchant like their father, Claudia wishes to protect them by becoming a guardian.
