Cosplay for Halloween

Omg... how time is going so fast...

Can I do visual kei ~ ish ?

i approve since its a form of cosplay and its hot.

Oh gawd...I have no ideas.

Can someone give me suggestions.

Here's a brief description of me.

I'm tall (about 179cm), dark skinned, brown eyes, dark hair just past my shoulders. I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing revealing clothes or anything too tight. Or something that would get odd looks because I'm using public transport. Wigs are okay, but I'd prefer something I could just do with my own hair.

Also, I don't have much time to get ready in the morning, so something quick and simple.


My favourite anime series are Axis Powers Hetalia, Bleach, DN Angel and Inuyasha. Some other series that I've watched are:
-Cardcaptor Sakura
-Mahou Sensei Negima (+ Negima?! and the OVAs)
-Haruhi Suzumiya
-Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
-School Days
-Myself, Yourself
-Please Teacher
-Please Twins
-Azumanga Daioh

And nothing that's too hard to get hold of. I can't make my own things. Preferably an outfit I can buy from a store, like something casual. Nothing too expensive either, I've got a bit coming up and I'll need a fair bit of $$$ for other things.

It's also my first time by the way and it sounds like fun.

Hrmm you could go for some visual kei..
or any other jap style clothings
which involves customising and mixing and matching
so it kinda stands out

if you're up for anime
school uniform style
you can go find some cheap pleated skirt..
or even your school uniform skirt
wear a white buttoned top with cute tie
knee or over knee socks which can be purchased at parramatta for 9dollars at SOXworld

your description really reminds me of yoruichi shihouin from bleach
but yes.. you dont have to be a perfectionist and be exact the same
for her outfit.. suitable for uni..
black top with a orange v neck jumper or long sleeve shirt
black tights
and boots and just tie your hair up in a high ponytail
with a split fringe on front ..
that'll suffice =)

by the way.. you are really tall!.. (feel so pressured)

edit: i just notice you said hair around or longer than shoulder length
what you can do is just leave it down
and if you're up for being more accurate
then flick your ends using a straightner or a curler or even using your fingers with hairspray

^_^ Sounds kinda good. I already own a pair of black tights and I have a lot of black tops. I'm sure I could get hold of an orange jumper from someone.

I also noticed that Yoruichi has purple hair. Would coloured hair spray work? I could probably get hold of some from the local discount store.

just remember that color hairspray makes your hair feel very yucky~

^_^ I know. I've used hairspray before. It wasn't coloured. but I could still feel the stickyness of it afterwords.

I'll have a look what I'll do closer to the time. But it should be fun.

I've had a look at Yoruichi's outfit. That doesn't seem to stand out too much.

but because of this hot weather
people might think you're abit crazy but its all good
since you have short hair.. you can also ditch the orange jumper 8D

Hmm...I might just bring a jumper in my bag. ^_^ I don't finish until 6 so it's usually pretty cold by the time I leave the uni.
