Yeah. I promised myself I'd be ready for J102 this semester, but this laziness just keeps killing my resolve.

I've also been trying to apply for jobs more relevant to my degree, but that's been an even greater battle for me.

Meh-ish. Survived tute reg. Except I couldn't register for one of the classes. Says there are no more places. Wondering if I should just turn up in the first
week...or keep checking to see if they make more places available. (There's only one class.)

Also happy because I should be able to attend club meets. I'm free from 11 until 4 on Thursdays.

I just watched my beloved Dodgers (baseball team, FYI) get 5 runs in the top of the 10th inning at Arizona. The relief pitcher for LA gets 2 easy outs in the bottom of the inning, but then lets a few batters get some good hits on his pitching. The manager, seeing how crap the pitcher has suddenly become, takes him out after he's already done the damage, by letting 2 runs score and loading the bases. Then our closing pitcher, who's usually been good comes on, and lets the batter score a home run, giving Arizona a grand slam walk off home run win.

Goddamn baseball.

I'm bored and lonely and I hate what my life is coming to. I want to run away from everything that makes me who I am, and just hurry on to my death because my life looks like it's going to be spent mostly feeling miserable and like I'm going to fail everything. I don't think I quite know what having a friend is meant to feel like, because I think everyone feels like an aquaintance, and of the four people who did manage to rise above what ridiculously high standard I have for friends, one was my ex who I can no longer speak to, one is way too busy for me these days, one is walking down a path which I don't want to follow, and the last one really isn't much of a people person at all, even when it comes to me. Life is unfulfilling and unsatisfying, and really doesnt seem to offer much room for satisfication and fulfilment. The only bit of happiness I had was when I was with Vivian, which should've taught me things like "see you CAN be loved, it IS possibly to be happy", but rather than learning that I was able to be happy, I seem to have learnt to notice just how horrible the rest of my life is now that she's gone. Every move I make, action I do, even breath I take seems to not be worth it. Life doesnt seem to be worth it.Not suicidal, just depressed/severely unmotivated.

(Maybe lower your standards for friends?)

Though I do know what it's like to feel really unmotivated. Most likely in a different sense though - mine's more just in terms of my uni work.
