fashion - YAY or NAY

but yeah.. i love vests too.. cardigan ones give a simplistic smart casual look
while the others give a hint of styles

like the ones thats shorter at the back and longer on the sides
ruffled on the sides.. etc etc
so many styles

whereas guys only come as the short cut ones.. or waistcoats
longer ones
cardigan ones
and the hoodie ones
nothing fancy =S

Wahh, I saw this lovely vest that Momoe (Bai Hui) was wearing in the drama Sweet Relationship, and I want it.....
Its colour was dark cream and the back had stitching lace-string (similar to bootlaces or shoelaces) like a corset. T-T So pretty! Nice design whoever made it! Must be in Taiwan.

Ohhh I have to say (no offence to anyone) that there is alot of styles in Asia that we cannot find in the exact style in stores here. Besides the Asian stores and online stores.
But yes... Vests are awesome as they can be worn In any weather even in hot weathers as there are thin vests especially the cardigan ones where it can protect you from the Intense sun.

Pushing aside the vest discussion, I'm going to rant about my frustration with jackets! You know, because the majority of jackets that I've tried on were either too tight or loose. The fact that I can't find my perfect size is becoming a bit of an annoyance!

I wish a lot of jackets increase the size of its shoulder areas, yes, I'm looking at your Roger David. I remember trying on a few of their jackets at my last trip to DFO, and the funny thing is that both small and medium was too tight! It's like these jackets were designed for girls instead. Boo~ However, there was this one green jacket at Jeans West which fitted me perfectly and catered to my shoulders. Too bad it was too expensive. I guess I will have to bring back the cost-efficient and durable paper bag into fashion! Hurray!

@kai: Lol, I was madly in a skinny tie phase during last semester, partly because of the challenge that a friend (Ruku-chan) gave me. The challenge was trying to make my self known as the 'tie dude' around uni, which I think I have slightly accomplished. Not sure. But anyway, I won't be wearing skinny ties for awhile unless I can find one that has the same patterns and colours as some of my shirts, so it can give it the camouflage effect!

Lol I know how you feel Haru! But I'm just looking for the perfect black jacket.
Not too long, and not too short.
The material has to be that tough cloth, not soft cotton blend or elastic band (like sweatpant style) on the bottom or denim or leather and completely black.
I don't want it overpriced! Grr...
Pockets are nice.
Extra detail with straps/buckles are ok too.
But I don't like oversized buttons or metal tacks on it.
I hope I am not too picky.
I just want a shorter, simpler version of the jacket that was given to me by Minnie because she didn't fit it. T-T

what i do though.. if its studs or buttons.. i tend to change it.. i know it requires effort but oh well.. more suitable to my likings =)

I suggest that one of the detours for the Amazing Race is to haggle with the store owner of a clothing shop to give us free expensive jackets! But then again, one of the teams might steal a jacket out of desperation to win the race ho ho.

i cant imagine long pants over that
because long pants cover probably the shoelace part
so yeah.. kinda defeats the purpose

I would rather see shoes with buttons! Like clothes buttons!

I am going to say it out as I think: lame and unimaginative unless you are cosplaying a Naruto character....<.< I would prefer more original styles! Like patterned Jap style fabric, frayed at the ends, not too brightly coloured. So definite Nay!
