Mangaka&Anime club IRC channel

I have created an IRC channel for the club as it makes for some great conversations and is a great way to keep in contact and talk to a large number of people at once.
For those who know how to use irc: Server:irc.rizon.net Channel: #MangakaAnime
For those who don't tutorial to follow below:

Step 1: Download an IRC client, if you know what your doing feal free to grab any client of your choice else i recommend and will be writing this guide with the MIRC variant Sysreset in mind. It can be downloaded here: http://download.sysreset.com/sysreset255.exe
Step 2: Initial Configuration: After its installed the first time you start it up it will ask for a name email nickname and alt nickname, feel free to be truthful or make up what ever you want for the name and email. For the nickname i suggest using your forum name and alt a variation on your forum name.
Step 3: Joining the server: You only need to join the server once and each time after you boot the program it will automatically connect to that server again. To connect to the server in the text input box type '/server irc.rizon.net'
Step 4: Connecting to the channel. So your on the server and raring to go, all you have to do now is connect to the channel. To do so just type in the input box '/join #MangakaAnime'

If you use MozillaFirefox for your browser..
you can download Chatzilla on google
install that
and follow the same process
type '/server irc.rizon.net'
then once you're connected
'/join #MangakaAnime'

why use mirc when we got the chatbox?

because the chatbox is slow and clunky and difficult to use? No offense meant to the coder. also every anime club holds a presence on irc and in general is a great way to communicate.

I hope it doesn't use up a lot of space. The memory in my desktop computer is on the blink...there is already too much stuff on it.

As in hard drive space? its about 3.3mb? tiny as heck lol. And the amount of RAM it uses for the more technical savvy of you its about 4mb, also almost nothing lol.
