| It has already been a year since the club was established, huh? The club started with only a handful of people and held weekly meetings outside of the EA block. Most of the original members found out about the club when searching on the UWS Connect website, and we were definitely surprised that there was such a club at the Parramatta campus. Props to Michelle for creating a wonderful club that we have come to know and love! - Spoiler:

Hi everyone!
I'm so so sorry about the utter confusion that I may have caused about the meeting times...It has been decided from a number of member replies that both the picnic and actual meetings will commence on Thursday 1-2pm. The picnic will be on 6th August...which is this week at the grass area outside Building EA near the Student Centre.
I tried to put up some posters the previous week, but to my horror and dismay, most were promptly taken down a few days later. I had to send you this email in case...
anyway if you have any questions or you can't find me on the day, call 0404066388. (Don't misuse my number or I will haunt you....>.<)
This week I may be promoting the club so watch out for a short girl wearing a grey neko/cat hat!

Hiya everyone!
I tried to get a group booking for the library at Room 8 (there is a projector and a T.V on the wall!), but it's been booked out for two weeks. I'm waiting to book out the next two Thursdays starting from Thursday September 3rd, onwards...*shakes fist angrily* But anyway, in the meantime, we will all meet up at our usual spot, and if it gets too sunny, we are moving inside to the library or the EA building.
And no need to fear of boredom because this time I am prepared! I have a list of group activities we can all participate in! Just you wait and see.
Remember this Thursday, 1-2pm.

Oh, but we didn't ended up using that room because the club become too large, and it was unlikely that 15 or so members could have squeezed into that tiny room! Fast-forward into the fourth week of the semester, Odom suggested that we should randomly raid an empty lecture room, and so we did! The club's first screening was the first episode of Darker than BLACK. - Spoiler:
The club's website and forum made its first appearance on the net during the same week. Admittedly, I didn't have much experience with html, but I wanted a reason to procrastinate from doing my accounting homework! - Spoiler:
Kaifanatic/Anna Well, I joined the club because I'm a high school friend of Taicho's. "Should I trust them?" Yeah, so I joined for the forums then after a whole semester I started attending meetings... And I love it!! Dannieh/DannyMy first impression is that the club would be a manga club which didn't interest me because I hardly read manga. Not until Celeste told me to join and voila... an epic awesome club! Meeting new people and able to discuss my hobbies and all. my hair was long after my vampire knight cosplay. where i had to tie my hair in a small tail. AND THATS IT! PEOPLE MISTAKEN ME AS A GIRL BECAUSE OF THAT LENGTH =W= AND IT WAS A RED SHIRT BAKAYARO! LOL (flips table)

Beach Outing #2- Spoiler:
Hooray now I can make another post, for people that didn't go to the event (like 12 votes but only 5people showed up so I assume 7people didn't come) here's the highlights of the day:
1. Haru got lost and we spend 50minutes looking for him
2. We decided to go to the city instead of beach (since we were already at the city)
3. Wandered around piracted dvds stores or "Blurays" as the box's suggested
4. Bought KFC and dropped most of it (Drumstick, bread and 2wicked wings) Vincent was temped to eat the wicked wings even after they were covered in dirt, fed wicked wings to seagull (promoting cannibalism)
5. Met up with Kaifanatic, more wandering
6. Met Odom randomly
7. Went to kinukiniya (or whatever)
8. Kaifanatic dreaming up Yaoi scenes
9. Other stuff I can't remember
10. Egged Taicho's house

I left out a lot of things that I wanted to cover, but this will do for now! So, with everything out of the way, tell us your fond memories of the club in this thread.
