PARRANOIA at SMASH debrief

Thanks guys~ I really mean it!

^.^ This thread is made for the purpose of commenting on what happened to SMASH yesterday,
and any suggestions on improving.
Good recounts may be included in the club's newsletter.

My entry

Overall mood: HAPPY! It went great, so I think that's a success to our club, thanks to our group effort.
Special note to my sister, who should aspire to become a really good salesperson/marketer!
And Shaun Healey (Endling) said my sister was cute~
OpenNote: -.- Kinda felt bad at the beginning for turning up late >.> due to unforeseen circumstances....
And how our table looked so empty and disorganised compared with the other clubs...
Awkward moment: The guy that randomly went to our table and was shouting my name...0.o Was he deaf,
or was he looking for someone that had the same name as me? That remains a mystery.
Funny moment: Some photographer roped me in with a passerby lolita and took a pic of us. Random...
Oh and the people/kids who kept spending their $2 trying to win a prize.
Good thing: Thanks Otoha (Russ) for supplying figurines/ coming up with the lucky dip and Alex (dragonfly-009) also for staying at the stall
for so long...Danny, Phil and Sarah for making the bookmarks and everyone else who helped out in any way, esp, the badges and promoting, etc.
Worst time: -.- MAID CAFE IS A DISAPPOINTMENT! never again, the worst $20 I spent on a mealANYTHING.
I kept thinking of all the other things I could have used to buy with that money like manga or posters or even Korean buffet
for two people.
Endnote- Can't wait till next year. There is still room for improvement for our stall but this is our learning curve~ Let's hope that
next year, ParraNOIA is going to be better- even if we are still considered the newbies in AnimeSydney!
I'll make more plushie cookies next year, not plushie toast.

Good work everyone!!!!! SMASH was so much fun! That lucky dip idea is the best, lol at the kid who keeps coming back for more xD
and yes maid cafe is just a huge disappointment this year... Lucky phil and vincent didnt go in...
Haha wonder where SMASH will be held next year? This time i will cosplay! Maybe i should start making the costume now...

Man, the club's stall at SMASH was a lot more fun than I was expecting! I couldn't believe how popular the lucky dip was thanks to Otoha's bag of goodies.

I don't think I will be entering any tournaments next year considering it soaked up too much time. Somehow managed to squeeze into the semi-finals but... I was clearly one of the worst players there! Hurray for lucky draws. =p

I didn't cosplay, i don't know who i'd be if i did... acid_reign_801 (gill) says i should be either matsumoto from bleach or tsunade from naruto, but i don't think i want to be either >_>

it was an alright day, i was running on V.

Yeah, they stopped selling tickets by the time Niloy arrived. Was hoping for a massive riot there

Anyways, SMASH!! is my first anime convention that I have ever been to and frankly enough, it was AWESOME!!

Best highlight of the day is when we were trying to clear out the whole table at the end. From $1 to 50c and finally down to "who cares, just sell it for free". We even tried to sell Michelle's relative there XD
