Because there are SMASH! volunteers distributing the tickets and we don't have the confusion of running in and out of the Town Hall trying to meet up with people
to give the tickets. (-.- late notice)

I've received the info pack about our stall ^.^~
Meet-up day before SMASH- Friday August 6 at 9.00am-5.00pm
(This time is for a general set-up of the table and looking at the venue, etc., prep stuff and collecting tickets.
On the actual day, helpers will need to arrive early, between 8.00am-8.30pm before the doors open.
(I guess actual day is for making the table look neat and organised)
Oh and all the club tables are located towards the back of Town Hall..
We're Table Two of the red section! (I wonder if two is a lucky number for us)

The other thread got too long, so now the new stuff is moved to here.
SMASH is fast approaching, and in terms of organisation, T-T we're not even near that.
So here is an outline of things that need to be addressed/ in the process of fixing/finalising.
Remember,
main goal for this year's SMASH, research and put our club out there in the public.
Issues Breakdown
Reimbursement- I can sort this out, just have to fill in a small form. No drama.
Funding-
It sounds like the Hive are willing to pay for the tickets and the table, but I know this was going
to come up sooner or later, that the helper tickets are only for UWS students.
So I need 10 people who are going to be helping out with the stall, whether it is minding the table, promoting
our club or organising the merch.
If I can't prove that all the helpers are from UWS, then they won't pay for it. (which really isn't a big issue because
I was only expecting them to pay only the $150 anyway).
Anyone who thinks they are eligible for helping out in SMASH, reply in this thread, or I will contact you via email/msn.

So think about people, you get a free ticket to SMASH, and you can take turns minding the table for an hour, or swap with someone
if you get tired from walking around in the con.
Merch-
Since our focus isn't about profit, we are still selling a few items.
Russ (Otoha) considered having a gacha/lucky dip sort of thing...
My cousin, Anna (Kai), Niki (Kay) and I will be badge designing.
I'll make some plushies as well (dunno what to make).
Danny (dannieh) suggested getting some t-shirts.
My mum can access a laminator and high quality printer at the company she is working at
if we want to make some promo posters and bookmarks. Just have to give it in early before
it starts getting busy again.
Art commissions- who wants to join me?
Any more ideas, feel free to suggest them, we need all the help we can get, seriously! oAo
Badgemaking machine- The Hive has got it in, can someone come to uni with me to take a look at it?
Preferably someone who knows how a badgemaker works, and if it is good quality, etc.
Art commissions- Anna suggested I make gift cards for special occasions?
