SMASH Stall for PARRANOIA -

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION OF STALLHOLDING TABLE IN SMASH IS JUNE 15th.

Still not sure about the affiliation. I will sort it all out when I go to uni on Tuesday. Hopefully that can be finished and we can get reimbursed then. So I am going to forget about payment....for now.

Since people aren't motivated to make merch, I've decided that people who are actually CONTRIBUTING and HELPING out with club table, will get the passes, free of charge.
So I have 107 tickets.
If you want the free ticket, you are going to have to work for it! >.<
There are three members who are already helping out with badge designs and stuff....

Oh, in terms of merch, selling and profit is not our major concern. My aim is to put our club name out to the public.

I filled in the application form, and they will send me the invoice for payment.
I ordered one table (no power or telephone line)- plus two entry tickets ($150)
and 10 additional helper tickets. ($200)
This means that there will be 11 free tickets up for grabs but you have to help out with the table.
It will be considered "free" if the Hive does reimburse the money, but for now, I am paying the invoice.
If they are only willing to pay for the table, then you might have to pay me the $20 (which is a considerable saving compared to normal entry of $25 for at the door)
Advance tickets are $20..(damn same thing).

Not much updated about the badgemaking machine....
Really need to ask again about the funds (since Heidi thinks we are still not affiliated and they have a new system in place= probably only going to either we give them the invoice to pay or we pay first and they reimburse us= no cash in hand)
In the meantime, we really need to start making merchandise!
Oh and fundraising...(don't want to go bankrupt).

Since we are affiliated with the Hive, I am going to be asking them to fund us for SMASH- since this is our main club event! (and is an legitimate expense)
But I have a feeling that this has something to do with making UWS look good~
Anyway, if we are lucky enough, we can get up to $5000, so fingers crossed!

Hey~ I got a message that early bird stall registrations are starting for SMASH!
This is our chance to get our club out there to the AnimeSydney world, since most of the other uni anime clubs have their own tables.
Ok we will need help organising merch to sell, and print out club bookmarks/ mini cards to promote.
It costs $150 a table and allows two passes for entry.
Additional helpers can pay $20.
Also we need an official PARRANOIA banner that can be used for their website and programme booklet, and somehow stick up something for the backing board.

So anyone interested in helping out?

Yup yup I'm in, just tell me what day it's on so I can get the day off of work. When you say "official banner" are you referring to a logo of the sort that we can use? And I think we should brainstorm for what exactly we can sell....

Yeah, an actual logo with Parranoia in it. T-T If someone is smart enough to design a custom font we could use with some nice emoticons or something....

I figured I could make mini plushies out of felt. It's really cheap buying squares of felt and sewing them but my supply of cotton stuffing is running out.

And you plan to make how many? And sell them for how much? And WOW August is years away!

I dunno 30 and sell them for about $2-$3, depends on my sewing and what type of plushie.
I know August seems like a long time..but oh well.

I want to help too. Though I have no skill watsoever. Though spying on JAUWS they made some pretty cool badges for mini. We should make badges.

bookmarks are great.. and best sellers i think
best if any members can draw anime characters in their own way or maybe chibi ..
popular characters = best sellers
so far i think vocaloid, k-on, usual death note and code geass, kuroshitsuji.. and maybe some others
are popular.. so if we could get some members to do some art on those.. (preferably cute looking ones like chibi).. or maybe a mini manga.. .. we can then edit it on comp and put it in bookmark sizes.. 2-3bucks each =)

Ok here's my attempt at making the banner thingy or whatever, just needs our mascot or symbol and maybe change the dot thing in the "i" to something cool looking... so yeah anyone that can draw want to fill in the blank space for me?

Mmm, I'm still iffy with the colours blue and red like that. But I do like the overall design!
Someone design the mascot, I don't want to always bag that job (already made a mascot for a group).
Lol the dot on the "i" could be changed to something related to mascot or something like a ~
eg if the mascot was a rabbit, the dot would be replaced with a carrot, does that make sense?

but if we want other colors.. i guess we could..

Mascot and colour= originality
I want to show that our club is not like the others! We don't have to conform with them!

Lol! ^.^ You can just call it a demon coffee/ chocolate sprite, and no it doesn't really have a name yet. Ok, I'll draw a nice pic of it! (most of the other pics were drafts or used for something else)

Umm, maybe it can be called Choko (chocolate) or Kohi (coffee)...unless someone can come up with a better name for it!
