Upcoming Events

Everyone~
Since we need to relieve stress and enjoy ourselves after exams, (very important for maintaining a good and healthy mental wellbeing)
ParraNOIA members and execs alike, have been discussing plans on what to do...as a good start for the holidays
Here are some ideas that we have come up with but the main important aspect is attendance.
Proposed week after exams: November 23-ish
Hopefully everyone can make it as exams should be finished by the 20th November.

There will be further info as the date draws nearer, regarding the events posted in the events/activities section of the forum.

- Water gun/ nerf gun war at city

-Paintball challenge- complete with equipment/armour and discount- $8 a person

-Amazing Race season two

Consider the events as a sort of going-away party for those who are planning to go overseas in the Christmas holidays~

Sounds great. Definitely will be looking forward to the Amazing Race again, although I'm not sure whether I'll be a participant this time around haha. *starts having traumatizing memories of the first race* =p

Oh, and I was discussing with William and Vincent that we should have an event held at a Japanese Restaurant. I'm not sure if the club ever had an official event in regards to a Japanese lunch or dinner, but I reckon it might seem nice!

lol how does your watch fall off Vince? Was it held on with sticky tape or something, I'm not really sure about Amazing Race event since it was kinda long, Unless maybe we hold it not in the city that would make things interesting

LOL it was like this..

At the rockclimbing place there was this area with a REALLY high string rope, like the ones in the army, which were 15m high and not supported by anything. When i was at the very top, it got caught on the rope, and when i pulled hard, the watch fellllllllllllllllllllllllllllll 15m all the way to its death..

it wasnt an expensive watch though so i didnt jump after it, to catch it in midfall.

I reckon the best way to deal with events such as the Amazing Race is to organise it on the forum. Most of Parranoia's activities and events are built around a community effort. It becomes difficult when communication is limited to e-mails considering other members won't be able to get full access to the details.

Speaking of the Amazing Race, I don't think trying to plan it within a week will work lol. Something like this will take a fair amount of time and members' input to organise. If Danny is up for it, we could always ask him to handle the event since he was the previous organiser. If not, I'll start up a forum topic so we can get a clear list of who is going to help out or become participants. After that's done, all the event organisers and helpers can gather at the club's headquarters (Vincent's place ) and hold a short meeting to finalise the details.

Sounds good! I'll help out as much as possible! Let's see how many people can actually make it =)
