Favourite book of all time: White Fang by Jack London
Sorry, but the other book by him (The Wild) wasn't as good.
I like Promise of the Wolves by Dorothy Hearst, not bad. Waiting for sequel...
(yes I like wolf books if they are good)
And there is nothing wrong with reading picture books at any age!
Best author/illustrator is Shaun Tan!
The Heart and the Bottle by Oliver Jeffers was cute, and a bit sad.
Non-fiction- I can't believe I read about the Dr Death trial from the book Sick to Death by Hedley Thomas, two years ago and still managed to remember some bits. Wow, it took the justice system this long in order to charge him for being guilty of medical negligence...
good thing he gets 8 years behind bars. After reading this book, I was dying to find out what happened to him. >.<
