Hmm. Haven't actually seen the anime itself (I don't think). I'll look into it later (unless someone gets it before). I don't actually recognise the main character lol - just the other two 'cause I think I might have seen pictures of them elsewhere.

hmm it is indeed a hard one as i have not watched this anime XD the art style and setting seems really familiar...

Why do I feel like this is an older (but still relatively recent) but more well-known series? Or is it just that the series appears to be from YouTube and therefore, image = not as HQ? Anyways, I really have no idea.

Negima? just a guess from the second picture..

It's from the 4th OVA - Mahou Sensei Negima: Mou Hitotsu No Sekai, but I'll give it to you. I'm not too fussed about how correct - it was already hard enough for people.

As for the hints.
Genres: Action, Adventure, Ecchi, Magic, Shounen, Supernatural. Shares Action and Shounen with Gintama and Bleach (Bleach also has Supernatural) and shares Action, Adventure, Magic, Shounen and Supernatural with Inuyasha.
